MissionOrlando: Mission Statement

Central Florida has exploded by over one million people in the last 20 years. This growth has brought prosperity and worldwide attention. But it has also brought the problems of urbanization: crime, homelessness, moral decay, and a loss of individual purpose. We know that the solution for these problems is in Jesus Christ -- we believe that the strategy for taking Orlando for Jesus is through effective ministry cooperation.

ChristiansNet was founded as an outreach ministry through the internet to serve not only Central Florida, but the world at large. By telling the world what is happening in and around Orlando, we testify to the Glory of God in a united Body of Christ. This is our motivation for hosting MissionOrlando.

MissionOrlando is seeking to take the city of Orlando for Christ by:

• Identifying and building on existing ministry partnerships.
• Dissolving denominational barriers so that all may work together.
• Maintaining and upgrading our existing computer data bases of ministries, churches, schools and public resources.
• Creating cooperative ventures outside of Orlando to help the Body of Christ grow world-wide.
• Creating a platform for church and para-church organizations to enter the World Wide Web arena, not only to reach our city but also to impact the 70 million people on the internet.
